This model features three-spindle Y-Axis ER-16 spindles and is driven by a 1 kW, or 1.5hp, motor with a rated torque of 2.4 Nm servomotor. The motor features a high-performance, rare-earth permanent magnet material, enabling long-term continuous operation in its rated working mode. Included with a matching AC servo driver to realize optimum servo performance. The CNC control is 5-axis capable. We use the X, Z, and C axes on the lathe and have two additional axes to program the live tool spindles, which can perform tapping and other milling operations.
