The GT-Xpress is the model of machine that the Prodigy was developed around. We have the same spindle and motion control components. With this model we will have painted the entire machine, provide new ball screws and linear rails. We are quoting the machine with a standard 5C taper nose. The size of the axis motors and spindle motors will be sized the same as the Prodigy. The warranty on the machine is one year, and the Fanuc components two years including both parts and labor. Xpress cross slide design incorporates a high performance positioning system featuring high pre-load, low friction, four circuit, roller linear bearings and a precision ground ball screw in a super precision thrust bearing set. The system provides a generous machining envelope of 11in. of travel in the X-axis and 6.5in. of travel in the Z-axis. T-slots allow for the easy mounting of 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 position tool holders. The performance slide actuates utilizing state-of-the-art AC brushless servomotors and digital drives. Linear guides are self-lubricating 25mm sets mounted inversely to provide maximum rigidity. Ballscrews are precision ground, 20mm, five pitch assemblies set in modular angular contact bearing housings.
